The growing substrate

Buffered coconut fiber, washed and brought to a pH that gives herbs the perfect base to grow in. It holds water like a sponge and still lets air reach the roots. Unfertilized and pure, the nutrients come with the Upgreens plant nutrient.

How to use it

1. Fill the substrate into the pots, up to the inner edge.
2. Press it down with your flat hand until it sits firm. It settles a little as you do.
3. Add a thin layer on top, without pressing it down. This layer is the bed for the seeds.
   
4. Set the seeds.
5. Manto protective finish on top.
6. Fill the Kitchenforest with water and add the Upgreens plant nutrient.
