Coriander

The Upgreens coriander seed kit contains three packets of GMO-free coriander seeds, to be precise: Coriandrum sativum, the oldest documented spice of humankind, cultivated for over 7,000 years. The three packets fill all three pots of the Kitchenforest. Fresh coriander is the foundation of curries, salsas, pho and guacamole, and it is hard to find fresh in the supermarket. The seeds are sprinkled onto the Upgreens growing substrate and germinate within a few days under the artificial sun, aka the LED light bar, of the Kitchenforest. You can expect the first harvest after five weeks. Regular picking encourages bushy regrowth, so a Kitchenforest supplies fresh coriander for months for Asian, Latin American and Middle Eastern cooking.
