The Upgreens parsley seed kit contains three packets of GMO-free parsley seeds, to be precise: Petroselinum crispum, curly parsley, found in every kitchen garden in Europe since Charlemagne. The three packets fill all three pots of the Kitchenforest. Parsley is the quiet backbone of European cooking: it enhances other flavors without covering them up. The seeds are sprinkled onto the Upgreens growing substrate and germinate within a few days under the artificial sun, aka the LED light bar, of the Kitchenforest. You can expect the first harvest after five weeks. Regular picking encourages bushy regrowth, so a Kitchenforest supplies fresh parsley for months: for salads, soups, sauces or as a finishing touch on any plate.
